SUMMARY:Intersex: making the I in LGBTIQ+ visible
DESCRIPTION:Trans+@WorkplacePride kindly invites you to join us at Accenture Nederland for an inspiring session about intersex experiences. \n\n\n\nLocation: Accenture\, Gustav Mahlerplein 90\, 1082 MA Amsterdam – Reception on the 17th floor \n\n\n\nDate: 30 October 2024Time: 16:00 -19:00 – including drinks & bites (Live stream from 16.00 – 17.30) \n\n\n\nIntersex: making the I in LGBTIQ+ visible \n\n\n\nPeople with intersex experiences are one of most invisible people in the LGBTIQ+ spectrum. Some people might even say that the I stands for invisible. It’s about time to make the I in LGBTIQ+ visible! \n\n\n\nJoin us to learn how intersex experiences (or sex diversity as it’s also called) differs\, or are similar\, from other experiences in the trans+ community. What terms you should know when talking about this group of people and what challenges they face. After covering the basics to ensure everyone is on the same page\, we hear a personal story from Merel\, who will tell her story: from childhood to working life and how her experiences impacted her. We close with a panel session to hear from frontrunner Accenture what employers and colleagues can do to support these people. \n\n\n\nProgram: \n\n\n\n15:30 Doors open16:00-16:05 Welcome by host Sophie Jeckmans (Workplace Pride)16:05-16:25 Intersex\, what is it? by Mir Abe Marinus / Tinka Krikke (NNID)16:25-16:50 Lived intersex experiences by Merel Ritsma (self employed) \n\n\n\n16:50-17:10 Panel session: what does Intersex inclusion look like \n\n\n\n                      Host: Marinka Sybesma (Accenture) \n\n\n\n                      Panellists: Javier Leonor (Accenture)\, Mir Abe or Tinka\, Merel and Kai Levson (Workplace Pride) \n\n\n\n17:10-17:30 Open Q&A17:30-19:00 Drinks and food at Dickys Grand Cafe  \n\n\n\nAbout NNID: \n\n\n\nNNID is an intersex-led human rights organisation dedicated to achieving equality and empowerment for intersex individuals while promoting visibility and acceptance of intersex and sex diversity in society. Together with intersex organisations worldwide\, we build expertise and shape definitions\, terminology\, and content in these areas. \n\n\n\nTravel advice from Accenture \n\n\n\nPlease note for those joining in person\, Accenture is strongly suggesting to come by public transport. The offices are just a short 5 min walk away from Amsterdam Zuid station. While there are public parking facilities in the neighbourhood\, it’s best to make a reservation. There are limited parking spaces available for people with mobility needs. If you require a spot\, please indicate this later on in this form.

SUMMARY:How to support LGBTIQ+ employees in Eastern Europe? Member Exchange #5
DESCRIPTION:Member Only Event \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis member exchange is a follow up session from the breakout session during our last International Conference. LGBTIQ+ policies & practices can be very complex in some countries from legal\, cultural and personal angles. So how do employers reconcile their global policies with the reality on the ground? How do they support their employees and how can they work with other organizations so they are not operating in a vacuum? This session takes a deep dive into these issues from both an employer and employee perspective and hears from those who have lived experiences on all sides of the topic with a focus on Eastern Europe. \n\n\n\nAt Workplace Pride we hold regular member exchanges. These member exchanges are interactions\, collaborations\, and support networks established among members of Workplace Pride who share a commitment to promoting LGBTIQ+ inclusion in the workplace. These exchanges involve the sharing of knowledge\, experiences\, best practices\, and resources related to fostering diversity\, equity\, and inclusion (DEI) in work environments. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nMember Login Access

This talk will begin with an overview of the various ways this inequality can show up: disadvantages can emerge not only in feelings of social marginalization\, but in a lack of professional respect and opportunities and even negative health and wellness outcomes. I discuss the kinds of work contexts that can amplify or undermine these inequalities\, using the science and tech sector as a case. I end by discussing the cultural “rhetorics of resistance” that employees and organization leaders sometimes use to block LGBTIQ+-inclusive diversification efforts and strategies for confronting those rhetorics. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo be professional is to be straight?: Heteroprofessionalism at work \n\n\n\nProf.dr. Jojanneke van der Toorn (Institute of Psychology at Leiden University) \n\n\n\nThis talk explores the intricate dynamics of heteroprofessionalism in the workplace\, focusing on the repercussions of possessing and disclosing an LGBTIQ+ identity on employees’ well-being and career trajectories. It delves into how disclosing a queer identity can be a double-edged sword\, with disclosure perceived as unprofessional while concealment is seen as dishonest. The talk also addresses the diverse experiences within different subgroups of the LGBTIQ+ community\, underscoring the complex challenges faced by LGBTIQ+ individuals in professional settings\, and advocates for inclusive organizational policies that support authenticity and professional equality for LGBTIQ+ employees. \n\n\n\n\n\n“For us to solve these deeply culturally entrenched problems\, we have to restructure the very idea of what it means to be a professional” – Dr. Erin Cech (University of Michigan)This quote nicely summarises the key message of last week’s LGBTIQ+ Workplace Inclusion Symposium at Leiden University\, marking the opening of the Academia@WorkplacePride year. The symposium was opened by Michiel Kolman \, Workplace Pride co-chair and Academia@WorkplacePride Lead who highlighted the increasing importance of bridging science and practice given the worrying trends in lgbtiq+ acceptance near and far.In her keynote\, Erin A. Cech provided an overview of the various ways that LGBTIQ+ inequality can show up in the workplace: disadvantages can emerge not only in feelings of social marginalisation\, but in a lack of professional respect and opportunities and even negative health and wellness outcomes. She discussed the kinds of work contexts that can amplify or undermine these inequalities\, using the science and tech sector as a case\, and ended by discussing the cultural “rhetorics of resistance” that employees and organisation leaders sometimes use to block LGBTIQ+-inclusive diversification efforts and strategies for confronting those rhetorics. In my keynote\, I further discussed the implications of heteronormativity at work by discussing the concept of heteroprofessionalism\, or the norm that to be professional is to be cisgender and straight. I presented recent research findings demonstrating how disclosing a queer identity can be a double-edged sword\, with disclosure perceived as unprofessional while concealment is seen as dishonest. I also addressed the specific challenges experienced bi+ employees\, and what can be done to mitigate these.Then\, a panel consisting of Melati Tamsma\, Pascale Wautelet\, and Roos Beerkens PhD\, and moderated by Kshitij Mor reflected on the keynotes\, offering insights and examples from their diverse workplaces. Many thanks to the audience for participating in the symposium\, the speakers\, moderator\, and panelists for sharing their insights\, and Christine Holtkamp\, Chenhao Zhou and Paula Hoffmann for their tireless efforts behind the scenes towards making the symposium a success! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn behalf of Leiden University\, Workplace Pride\, and the organising team\, \n\n\n\nProf.dr. Populism continues to threaten freedom of speech and expression\, and LGBTIQ+ communities are feeling more vulnerable than they have in years. Employers\, both private sector and public sector are not immune to this sentiment. Many of the givens\, such as robust Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion policies\, are sometimes questioned – even challenged\, despite the considerable progress that has been made. \n\n\n\nBut the future is anything but decided! Stakeholders for the progression of LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion are many and are powerful. We are the ones who decide if workplaces around the world will continue to embrace LGBTIQ+ inclusion. \n\n\n\nThe 2024 Workplace Pride International Conference brings together many of these stakeholders\, from employers\, LGBTIQ+ civil society\, governments and academia to hear different viewpoints\, explore the priorities\, and collectively determine how we will focus our efforts in the coming year. We will hear from top executives (both LGBTIQ+ and non) who are well versed in the economic angle\, politicians from countries that experience LGBTIQ+ discrimination first-hand\, Civil Society Organisations active in many countries where Workplace Pride members have activities\, and our own members who have an eye on both strategic issues as well as the practical ones that need to be addressed every day. \n\n\n\nSo come and join us and 400+ participants to face this uncertain world together. Both far right and far left forces in politics and in society increasingly scrutinise employers’ intentions. So how do progressive employers balance their LGBTIQ+ ‘identities’ with this public challenge? How can Executive Boards\, Communications and Public Affairs professionals craft messages that respect their values while still responding effectively to these external challenges? This dynamic session tackles all of these issues with the input of practitioners who are ‘walking the talk’.The Dilemma of Billable Hours: Balancing DEI & Business Priorities(11:15-12:30)Many of us work in a fast paced culture that demands high performance. It can be challenging to carve out time to contribute to DEI initiatives in the organisations we work for\, and even more so in organisations that work with a billable hours model. If there are only so many hours a week an employee can spend on non-billable work\, how do we keep them engaged on ID&E amidst other non-client work that demands their attention? Practitioners looks at all angles of this timely topic in a fully interactive and solution-oriented session.Supporting LGBTIQ+ Employees in Challenging countries(11:15-12:30)Implementing LGBTIQ+ policies & practices can be very complex in some countries from legal\, cultural and personal angles. So how do employers reconcile their global policies with the reality on the ground? How do they support their employees and how can they work with other organisations so they are not operating in a vacuum? This breakout sessions takes a deep dive into these issues from both an employer and employee perspective and hears from those who have lived experiences on all sides of the topic. The Investor’s guide to LGBT+ Inclusion(11:15-12:30)Navigating how and where to invest and still be inclusive of LGBTIQ+ strategies can be a challenge; one that impacts not only employers but also employees and the greater LGBTIQ+ community as well. This interactive session presented by Open for Business provides a framework to effectively evaluate companies on their LGBTIQ+ inclusion efforts. It also explores the correlation between these efforts achieving higher profit margins\, enhancing corporate reputation and improving diversity outcomes.Connecting Cards: A Practical Tool to Confronting Bias(11:15-12:30)Accenture and Schiphol Group team up in this highly interactive breakout session that takes all participants on a voyage of discovery about perceived bias and how to talk about – sometimes – uncomfortable topics. This unique approach to DEI in the workplace can be used for any topic\, but is particularly relevant for the oftentimes sensitive topic of LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion.Bi+ Inclusion in the Workplace(11:15-12:30)Despite widespread belief in the workplace being more inclusive towards individuals identifying as gay\, lesbian\, bi+\, or otherwise queer\, especially for younger demographics\, the reality tells a different story. Emerging insights furthermore suggest significant variance within these communities\, warranting nuanced attention. In this session\, a pioneering new study conducted by the Workplace Pride Chair at Leiden University and equality organization Bi+ Nederland details persistent challenges encountered by bi+ individuals in professional settings\, distinct from those faced by their gay\, lesbian\, and transgender counterparts. Moreover\, it delves into the necessity for tailored strategies to authentically incorporate this often-misunderstood\, underrepresented\, and marginalised group.Transgender Inclusion & Safety in the Workplace(11:15-12:30)As the global political landscape shifts to a more conservative outlook\, many marginalised groups are finding that their social safety and inclusion in the workplace can also be compromised. This is particularly true for the transgender community. This breakout session looks at these political and social issues in detail and how they impact the daily reality for transgender individuals at work. Participants will gain more knowledge about this issue and\, through interactive discussion\, learn how organisations can actively support their colleagues.\n\n\n\n\n\nAfternoon Breakout Sessions \n\n\n\n\n\nDownload Presentation \n\n\n\n\n\nDownload Presentation\n\n\n\n\n\nDownload Presentation\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDownload Presentation\n\n\n\n\n\nDownload Presentation\n\n\n\n\n\nBreakout TitleDescriptionNeurodiversity in Pride(13:45-15:00)Neurodiversity is becoming more and more a hot-topic within different organisations\, and often a relationship is made between the LGBTIQ+ community and having neurodiverse traits. But what does neurodiversity mean\, what is included and why is the relationship between the LGBTIQ+ community so often made? During an engaging breakout session\, Workplace Pride’s five Communities (Women\, Trans+\, Tech\, Academia and Young) will bring different perspectives. Collectively\, they will also identify the commonalities which allow employers and employees to better engage with neurodiverse people. Through interactive case-studies and provocative discussions\, this session will equip participants with first ideas of tools and techniques they can use in their workplace.Adapting to Local Context: Thailand – A Case Study(13:45-15:00)Employers and communities are more and more aware of the need to have a global outlook for LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion yet sometimes struggle with with local implementation. This provocative breakout session reveals how an existing tool (The Workplace Pride UN Standards Toolkit) was adapted to the local context\, (business) culture\, and language in Thailand. Participants will take part in a presentation of the “Thai Toolkit” but\, just as importantly\, gain valuable knowledge around the dynamics of making progress on LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion through innovate and out of the box thinking in a non-western context.Making the Case for Self-ID(13:45-15:00)Self-Identification for LGBTIQ+ people has intrinsic value for both employers and employees. It is critical that organisations are clear about goals\, intentions and actions with respect to Self ID data. They must carefully consider privacy\, build trust\, and act with respect and integrity when they take steps to implement Self ID in their organisation. In this follow up from last year’s breakout\, participants will learn how they can build needed support for their own efforts\, by focusing on how Self ID can create a stronger future for their organisation and for their LGBTIQ+ colleagues.Global Engagement of LGBTIQ+ Networks(13:45-15:00)This engaging breakout session presented by ING’s global team will showcase the value of LGBTIQ+ Employee Resource Groups but also the challenge to maintain interest over time. It will explore how ERG’s can remain strategically focused while simultaneously maintaining that ‘grass-roots’ feel and purpose. ING’s ‘Rainbow Lions’ is a large and impactful LGBTIQ+ ERG established 20 years ago that has a multitude of activities\, More importantly\, though\, they know how to present their accomplishments in a way that is inspirational to other ERGs and ensures impact for the business.Intersectionality: The Reality of Race\, Ethnicity & Queer Identities(13:45-15:00)In the world\, many LGBTIQ+ people of colour (POC) still face discrimination\, harassment\, and discomfort in the workplace. Indeed\, studies indicate that intersectionality\, (multiple-minority characteristics) has an impact on how people are treated and perceived at work. This interactive breakout offers a safe space for participants to understand how race\, ethnic and cultural backgrounds impact LGBTIQ+ POC professionals at work. It will start the conversation about the challenges LGBTIQ+ POC face in the workplace and particularly focus on awareness raising and strategies for support and allyship.Rainbow Washing: Are We Doing the ‘Right’ Thing?(13:45-15:00)“Doing the right thing” is not nearly as clear-cut as it used to be when it comes to LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion. Activists and younger generations are much more critical about what they deem to be genuine efforts at inclusion and the term “Rainbow Washing” is now heard much more frequently. And how should organisations who are trying to do the right thing strike a good balance between their LGBTIQ+ efforts and the threat of cancel culture? This session looks at all angles of this contentious issue as it aims for clarity for all stakeholders that will lead to sustainable progress.Sector-based LGBTIQ+ Workplace Inclusion(13:45-15:00)Many industries increasingly recognise the importance of LGBTIQ+ inclusion as a business imperative of DE&I. Trends in this area include: workplace policies\, learning and development programs\, representation\, transgender inclusion\, supplier diversity\, and ERGs (employee resource groups). But how do approaches differ from sector to sector? This breakout uncovers industry-focused trends on LGBTIQ+ inclusion and provides the audience a great opportunity to learn how other organisations tackle the challenges they experience on their journey.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout The Hague Conference Centre\n\n\n\nAnna van Buerenplein 292595 DA The HagueNetherlands \n\n\n\nThe Hague Conference Center stands for international hospitality\, luxurious catering and contemporary facilities at the highest level. To take into account this dynamic and the activities of many of our members in the country\, Workplace Pride will be organising our 2nd conference entitled “Demystifying LGBTIQ+ Workplace Inclusion in India” on March 21st of 2024 in Bengaluru. We will be working with Shell\, as host of the event and a leading member of the Foundation\, who\, like many other organisations are striving to create workplaces in India where all employees can truly be themselves\, including those from the LGBTIQ+ community. \n\n\n\nWith a backdrop of strong tradition\, modernity and emerging economic might all in one\, India is also at an important national crossroads as it moves towards greater equality for LGBTIQ+ people in society and what this means for workplaces. The challenges this represents for employers of all types\, ranging from support and benefits to recruitment and retention\, cannot be overstated. Navigating this future though does not need to be a mystery nor does it have to be done in isolation. \n\n\n\nThis highly-interactive conference will bring together major private and public sector employers in India\, international experts\, and many representatives from the well-developed LGBTIQ+ Civil Society in the country. All of these stakeholders will examine the issue of creating welcoming workplaces in preparation for the business and societal changes to come. The full-day conference will take place on Thursday\, 21 March\, 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBreakout: Location: Vijaynagar Nr. 1: Measuring Success for LGBTIQ+ inclusion in IndiaModerator: David PollardNikita Shah\, Associate Director IWEI\, Pride Circle  Zahara Fernandes: MD – Accenture India OperationsAbstract: This session explores the KPI’s for LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion in India. This session demonstrates the important link between these two parties and presents a useful toolkit that will open doors for more understanding and cooperation.  \n\n\n\n\n\nDownload the Declaration of India \n\n\n\nDeclaration of India for an LGBTQ Inclusive Workplace \n\n\n\nMarch 21st\, 2024 \n\n\n\nPreamble:  \n\n\n\nThe Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: ‘All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights’.  \n\n\n\nThese values should apply equally to Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual\, Transgender\, Intersex\, Queer and their Allies [+] (LGBTIQ+) people in their private lives and in working environments. On September 6th\, 2018 The Indian Supreme Court unanimously ruled that Section 377 of the Indian Constitution is unconstitutional thus legalising homosexuality in India. This ruling has set the stage for ongoing reforms that will impact communities and workplaces for years to come.  \n\n\n\nIt is difficult to right a wrong by history. But we can set the course for the future. This case involves much more than decriminalising homosexuality. It is about people wanting to live with dignity. \n\n\n\n—Indian Supreme Court Chief  Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud \n\n\n\nDespite the progress on the judicial front\, a 2023 survey by Deloitte* has shown that 34% of LGBTQ+** people in India say concerns about their personal safety are a barrier to being about at work. To ensure improvement in the workplace for LGBTIQ+ people\, the Workplace Pride Foundation\, The Solidarity Foundation and Pride Circle Foundation have created the Declaration of India\, a call for action to all parties involved: LGBTIQ+ and non-LGBTIQ+ employees\, Employers\, Governments and other stakeholders in Indian society.  \n\n\n\nThe Declaration of India is based in large degree on the Declaration of Amsterdam which was created in 2011 by  Amsterdam-based Workplace Pride and which addresses a global audience. The Declaration of India\, however\, caters to the largest country in the world by population and acknowledges that a focused effort is required to ensure progress is made on LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion. Both documents are designed to inspire employers and their employees to collaborate in ways that will benefit all stakeholders.   \n\n\n\nAs civil society organisations that are closely connected with both employers and employees in India\, the Workplace Pride\, Solidarity and Pride Circle Foundations are well versed in collaboration. They also know that only with concrete changes to organisational cultures and workplace practices in India can progress on LGBTIQ+ matters be ensured in the country’s complex culture. \n\n\n\nThe Declaration of India strives for:  \n\n\n\n\nInclusive corporate cultures where LGBTIQ+ employees feel valued\, can be their authentic selves and realise their full potential. \n\n\n\n\n\nWorking environments for LGBTIQ+ people that go beyond minimum legal requirements of equality and safety\n\n\n\n\n\nActive leadership from allies and LGBTIQ+ role models who visibly support LGBTIQ+ inclusive workplaces.\n\n\n\n\n\nDedicated\, declared and active collaboration between employers and LGBTIQ+ employees who choose to be visible at work to realise mutually beneficial improvements.\n\n\n\n\nThe parties signing this Declaration intend to work together with the three Foundations and other civil society organisations representing the LGBTIQ+ workplace community in India\, to promote its 10 action points. By signing\, they are committing to promote LGBTIQ+ inclusive workplaces throughout the country\, both through internal and external communication. Finally\, by signing the Declaration of India\, they are agreeing to uphold the dignity and defend the rights of the LGBTIQ+ people who they employee to truly be themselves at work.  \n\n\n\n\n  Deloitte\, 2023 LGBT+ Inclusion @Work Survey: India\n\n\n\n* LGBT+ was defined for survey respondents as the following: The LGBT+ acronym (which stands for Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual\, Transgender and more)\n\n\n\n\nDeclaration of India “Call to Action” \n\n\n\n1. Employers must provide a safe\, comfortable equal opportunity workplace and promote authenticity for LGBTIQ+ employees in India. \n\n\n\n2. Employers should work closely with and benefit from the knowledge of other parties  (employee networks and civil society organisations) dealing with LGBTIQ+ workplace issues in India to achieve improvements. \n\n\n\n3. Employers should identify and support leaders and decision makers (LGBTIQ+ and non- LGBTIQ+)  that actively strive to create LGBTIQ+ inclusive working environments in India. \n\n\n\n4. LGBTIQ+ employees who choose to be visible at workshould actively strive to collaborate with their employers on diversity and inclusion\, leading the way for all employees. \n\n\n\n5. LGBTIQ+ employees should guide their employers on measures to support this Declaration’s goals and implementing best practices. \n\n\n\n6. Employers and LGBTIQ+ employees should create and support structures in the organisation that ensure progress. \n\n\n\n7. Employers should embed the Declaration’s concepts in organisational principles\, and include them explicitly in external communications such as Annual and Corporate Responsibility Reports. \n\n\n\n8. Employers and employees should develop and establish measurements that identify the level and progress of LGBTIQ+ inclusiveness within the organisation and benchmark this externally. \n\n\n\n9. Employers should dedicate a minimum of ₹100 per employee in India to support LGBTIQ+ programs such asEmployee Resource Groups\, mental health support\, and prevention of workplace harassment. \n\n\n\n10. Organisations should visibly support the improvement of working environments for their LGBTIQ+ employees wherever they are active in India. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWP-Trinity1-Master-Final-compressedDownload\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClick here for some memories from the conference! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTaj MG Road\n\n\n\n41/3 MG Road\, Bengaluru\, Karnataka\, 560001\, India

SUMMARY:Copenhagen Winter Pride 2024
DESCRIPTION:Light up the winter darkness: You are invited to Copenhagen Winter Pride\n\n\n\nCome together – be together \n\n\n\nFor the tenth time\, we are proud to present Copenhagen Winter Pride at Huset-KBH. Just like this summer\, the theme is Come Together; an invitation to closeness and togetherness in the LGBTI+ community. This fits perfectly with the framework of Winter Pride\, which is intended as an event to bring the Copenhagen rainbow community into the warmth of a cold time to learn more about each other’s lived experiences. \n\n\n\nCopenhagen Pride volunteers have put together a programme of entertainment\, debates and social events that offers something for all tastes and energy levels. As usual\, the week is rounded off with a party\, the Frozen Fantasy Show in Pressen. \n\n\n\nWinter Pride’s debate programme covers a range of topics that share the common element of inviting the audience to learn more about other LGBTI+ people’s experiences that they may not have thought about before. \n\n\n\n\nDownload the program\n\n\n\n\nAs always\, the programme has a strong political element\, and we will be joined by Sabaah\, who will talk about the rise in so-called ‘anti-gender’ movements\, and LGBT Asylum\, who will talk about the conditions for LGBTI+ people seeking asylum in Denmark. There will also be room for tenderness\, including an event focusing on stories from long-term relationships and a debate on how becoming a parent as a queer person affects your sexuality. \n\n\n\nCopenhagen Pride volunteers have put together a programme of entertainment\, debates and social events that offers something for all tastes and energy levels. As usual\, the week is rounded off with a party\, the Frozen Fantasy Show in Pressen. \n\n\n\nParty on – also without alcohol \n\n\n\nWinter Pride week finishes with a party to remember\, the Frozen Fantasy Show at Pressen on 24 February. Just like last year\, we’re also throwing a Winter Pride Celebration on Friday\, where you can party the night away in an alcohol-free setting when DJ Sofie Jacobi plays to a red-hot dance floor. Winter Pride Celebration is a free party where no alcohol is served and intoxicated behaviour is not allowed. \n\n\n\nPride Night Live is back! \n\n\n\nOnce more\, the Culture Group at Copenhagen Pride invites you to Pride Night Live. This time it will be model\, actress and winner of ‘LGBT+ Person of the Year’ at the Danish Rainbow Awards 2023\, May Lifschitz\, who will present the many exciting guests who come to the studio. Among other things\, you can look forward to theatre\, musical performances and interesting interviews with various actors who are all working to develop their own areas within the LGBTI+ community\, be it the nightlife\, the art and culture scene or basic conditions and rights for members of the community. As always\, you can watch whether you’re in the studio or at home – we’ll be livestreaming the entire show. \n\n\n\nAll in all\, it’s going to be a fantastic week under the rainbow\, and we look forward to welcoming the entire LGBTI+ community and its allies to Winter Pride Week 2024!

SUMMARY:2024 Member Exchange 1
DESCRIPTION:Member Exchange Session: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAlthough meaningful progress has been made for LGBTIQ+ people in the workplace\, many LGBTIQ+  professionals still face discrimination\, harassment\, and discomfort in the workplace. Everybody’s experience is unique and different. Personal attributes such as gender identity\, gender expression and sexual orientation influence how people are perceived or treated in the workplace. How about other attributes such as race and ethnicity? In the next members exchange session\, our members will share their unique challenges that they face in the workplace. Participants will have an opportunity to learn the negative impacts of multiple minority stress. The session will also focus on how to be active allies to support LGBTIQ+ colleagues who may experience multiple minority stress. \n\n\n\nThese sessions are designed to be informal and to bring members together to share experience\, to learn from one another\, and to build connections for future collaboration. Feel free to invite other employees from your organization to listen in. \n\n\n\nTo learn more and to share your own thoughts\, please reach out to your Relationship Manager for access.
