SUMMARY:Diversity Day

SUMMARY:National Coming Out Day
DESCRIPTION:National Coming Out Day (NCOD) is an annual LGBT awareness day observed on October 11\, to support lesbian\, gay\, bisexual and transgender people to “come out of the closet“. It is a great opportunity for employers to demonstrate that everyone is accepted. By giving visibility to this day at the workplace\, employees feel less anxious about sharing other aspects of their personality and their identity. Sexual orientation is a non-visible type of diversity and sometimes people need to feel safe before opening up to their colleagues\, family and friends. Do you want to know more about NCOD? Visit HRC’s website: https://buff.ly/2pDowdy \n\n\n\nAre any of our members organizing a NCOD activity\, if so please share with us. Send content to us info@workplacepride.org

SUMMARY:Taiwan Conference – Trailblazing LGBTI Workplace inclusion in Asia - October 27th 2020
DESCRIPTION:Same-sex marriage is now a fact in Taiwan. As the first nation in Asia to take this step\, what are the implications for the workplace and how does this fit into the bigger picture of Diversity and Inclusion? How should multinationals\, local companies\, as well as government and non-for-profit organizations active in the country engage with this topic and with the LGBTI people they employ? And now\, within the context of social and geo-political change surrounding the global pandemic\, how can all stakeholders work together to build on marriage equality in Taiwan and continue its leadership role for LGBTI inclusion across Asia? \n\n\n\nThis unique\, bi-national and multi-media conference within a global context is entitled\, “Taiwan – Trailblazing LGBTI Workplace Inclusion in Asia – Marriage equality in times of social change”.
