DESCRIPTION:Our aim is to introduce Workplace Pride’s international member base and friends to the existence of “Rainbow families”. Shedding light and ideas about how rainbow families are constructed. The speakers will discuss the inherent issues and complexities\, as well as how these could affect employment (and conditions).  \n\n\n\nWe hope to inspire Workplace Pride’s members and their HR departments to acknowledge this important subject. Exploring the need to deeply consider how to best support employees that form part of a rainbow family in their workplace. \n\n\n\nOur speakers : \n\n\n\nKarin Geerts works for ING\, and is a mother together with her wife. \n\n\n\nSara Coster has been involved with Meer Dan Gewenst for well over a decade. Sara co-parents her two sons together with a male couple. \n\n\n\nBianca Busser is an HR professional at HEMA\, which has taken progressive steps to be inclusive to all rainbow families\, focusing on the practical relationship between parents and children rather than the legal rights between parents and children. \n\n\n\nModerator : Jelle Martens co-parents his 7 and 9 year old with his husband and a female couple.
