DESCRIPTION:REGISTER FOR THE ONLINE EVENT \n\n\n\nUnfortunately due to the Dutch government’s new COVID restrictions and circumstances beyond our control\, we are sadly unable to have a physical event. However\, there still will be an opportunity to attend the event virtually via a Zoom link. The Annual Members Meeting will be ONLINE only.  \n\n\n\nWith the global pandemic remaining a constant in 2021\, societies and workforces are still in flux. The true impact at all levels is still being felt and the deeper issues yet to be fully understood for the LGBTIQ+ community. With the tumultuous year of 2020 behind us and 2021 not far behind\, Workplace Pride invites members to attend and share their thoughts and ideas at this important meeting as we look to the road ahead for LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion. \n\n\n\nThe Annual Members Meeting is open only to Workplace Pride members. It will be streamed on Thursday\, December 2nd from 18:30 until 19:30 CET. DESCRIPTION: PURPLE FRIDAY – ONLINE – BREAKFAST SESSION  \n\n\n\n To kick off Purple Friday 2021 strongly\, we would like to cordially invite you to a special breakfast session\, organised by Academia@Workplace Pride and Student Pride.  \n\n\n\nPurple Friday is a day on which pupils and students can show their solidarity with LGBTIQ+ people by wearing the colour purple at school. In the Netherlands\, the day has been held on the second Friday of December every year since 2010. Purple Friday was inspired by Spirit Day in the United States\, which was first held in 2010 as an expression against bullying of LGBTIQ+ youth.  \n\n\n\nPurple Friday is traditionally celebrated at schools but over the last couple of years\, we’ve seen that higher education and corporate workplaces are embracing this celebration of solidarity with the LGBTIQ+ community.  \n\n\n\nIn this webinar\, we’ll explore what Purple Friday is all about and also why universities and companies are putting Purple Friday on their agendas.  \n\n\n\n Please register to participate via Zoom: Register HERE! \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you online on Purple Friday
