Purple Friday was inspired by Spirit Day in the United States\,which was first held in 2010 as an expression against bullying of LGBTIQ+ youth.Purple Friday is traditionally celebrated at schools but over the last couple of years\, we’ve seen thathigher education and corporate workplaces are embracing this celebration of solidarity with theLGBTIQ+ community. During this hybrid lunch we’ll explore the Purple Friday theme: acceptance\,equality\, and safety of all people of the LGBTIQ+ community in higher and secondary education froma management and student perspective.
