SUMMARY:The role of central banks and financial supervisors in LGBTIQ+ inclusion in the workplace and society
DESCRIPTION:De Nederlandsche Bank\, Frederiksplein 61\, Amsterdam  \n\n\n\nJoin us on 15 May at De Nederlandsche Bank in Amsterdam for a thought-provoking Workplace Pride Member Event exploring the role of central banks and financial supervisors in advancing LGBTIQ+ inclusion in both the workplace and society at large. As global support for LGBTIQ+ communities declines—evident in rising hostility\, online abuse\, and the rollback of hard-won rights—these developments also impact professionals within financial institutions. This full-day event brings together experts\, policymakers\, and community voices to examine how central banks and regulators can act as visible allies and catalysts for inclusion in an increasingly polarized world.  \n\n\n\n\nRegister today\n\n\n\n\nSeveral central banks and financial supervisors in the EU already have LGBTIQ+ employee resource groups (ERGs) in place for many years\, while others have recently  started ERGs or are considering doing that – and some do not offer any space for such a network. At DNB Pride\, we see this conference as an opportunity to be inspired and  strengthened in our commitment to LGBTIQ+ inclusion from within central banks and financial supervisors\, to learn from each other’s experience\, and to create a ‘network  of LGBTIQ+ networks’ that will facilitate further exchange and collaboration in the future.  \n\n\n\nThe DNB Pride network invites you to attend this full day conference\, which will be moderated by Marion Mulder (FutureMaker\, AI & Conscious Innovation). We will have  three keynote speakers\, five interactive workshops\, a panel discussion and an art tour for you.  \n\n\n\nKeynotes  \n\n\n\nWe are proud to have the following inspiring keynote speakers:  \n\n\n\n• Klaas Knot\, Governor of De Nederlandsche Bank and Chair of the Financial Stability Board (FSB)  \n\n\n\n• Petra Hielkema\, Chairperson of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA)  \n\n\n\n• Patrick McCann\, Co-CEO of City Century and Former Director of learning at law firm Linklaters  \n\n\n\nWorkshops  \n\n\n\nWe will have two rounds of the following five workshops (before and after lunch)\, of which you can participate in two:  \n\n\n\n• How to build an effective LGBTIQ+ employee network: Focusing on the creation and empowerment of LGBTIQ+ employee resource groups\, this workshop will offer  comprehensive strategies for building strong internal networks that support inclusion.  \n\n\n\n• Integrating (LGBTIQ+) D&I into an HR framework: Join us for an insightful workshop focusing on how to create an inclusive approach in HR processes and policies.  Designed to empower LGBTI+ professionals and allies to lead with authenticity and inclusivity.  \n\n\n\n• The Workplace Pride benchmark as a way to create progress in LGBTIQ+ inclusion: This session will delve into key learnings from the annual Workplace Pride Global  benchmark.  \n\n\n\n• Storytelling as a powerful tool to create awareness and engagement: Learn how to use storytelling to create awareness and engagement for LGBTIQ+ inclusion in  the workplace.  \n\n\n\n• Academic insights into LGBTIQ+ inclusion: Learn how to create an inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ employees. An expert from Utrecht University will explore  the relationship between inclusion and employee well-being and provide strategies to enhance inclusion.  \n\n\n\nArt Tour  \n\n\n\nInstead of joining a workshop you can also participate in a special tour by the DNB Art Committee\, in which we will discuss LGBTQ+ art in our renovated building \n\n\n\nPanel Discussion  \n\n\n\nWe will have a panel discussion that will focus on some challenging topics\, such as how can the “pink ceiling” be broken? and creating an intersectional approach to inclusion. Networking Reception  \n\n\n\nWe will finish the conference with drinks and bites and the possibility to network with other participants.  \n\n\n\nRegistration  \n\n\n\nWe hope that you will join us in Amsterdam for this unique international conference.   \n\n\n\n\nRegister today\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to share this invitation with colleagues in your organisation. If you have any questions\, please contact us via DNBPrideConference@dnb.nl.
